About us

I have been a coffee lover for the past 30 years. As an amateur, as is often the case, my love for coffee and Italy led me to become very curious, and later knowledgeable about everything to do with espresso, as well as getting trained as a barista.

I have been exploring the different kinds of Italian coffee for many years and have brought numerous blends back to the Czech Republic. Lately I have been in search of the perfect blend with a high Arabica content. My search brought me to the city of coffee, Trieste.

The numerous small roasters made me realize how much of a long-time tradition goes into making the perfect blend of coffee. And there it was!  TriesteCaffè: Small, artisanal coffee roasters run by Daniela, a lovely woman who knows all about coffee. When I tasted their espresso I fell in love with their Trieste blend of 100% Arabica, something I thought I would never like. Over time, I sampled all their blends, setting my espresso machine for different temperatures to achieve the best results. This is coffee of the highest quality and I have decided to bring it out to the Czech Republic for other crazy Czechs like me who love the perfect cup of espresso. Our aim is not to sell to supermarkets or other large volume retailers. Our vision is to reach out to like-minded coffee lovers who are interested in artisanal excellence.

I have written brief descriptions of the blends to help you make your choice. I recommend carefully going through all the blends, and playing with the grind and temperature.
